Julianne Sutton scored her 1,000th career point as the Flowery Branch girls basketball team beat Johnson 69-10 in the first round of the Region 8-AAAAA tournament Wednesday night. She finished with 19 points in the win, while Jenna Sutton pitched in another 12. The Lady Falcons will play Loganville in the semifinals at 7 p.m. Friday at Cedar Shoals.
