Rebecca Webster led Gainesville (12-7, 5-2 Region 8-AAA South) with a game-high 22 points in a 51-49 win against Walnut Grove on Tuesday night in Loganville.

Becca Gwyn scored 17 points for the Lady Warriors.

Gainesville hosts Johnson at 7 p.m. Friday.

WALNUT GROVE BOYS 71, GAINESVILLE 69: Down a point with only four seconds left on the clock, the Warriors’ Nick Peters hit a three-point jumper on Tuesday night in Loganville.

Lance White led the Red Elephants with a team-high 19 points. Deshaun Watson added 13 and Chase England finished with 12 for Gainesville.

The loss put Gainesville at second in the conference below Walnut Grove.

Gainesville hosts Johnson at 8:30 p.m. Friday.
