High school scoreboard: Grogan scores 31 points for Lakeview Academy girls in region win

Hanna Grogan racked up 31 points for the Lakeview Academy girls in a 75-24 win against Hebron Christian on Tuesday night in Dacula.

She scored 25 of her points in the first quarter for the Lady Lions (12-4, 4-0 Region 8-A).

Lakeview Academy host Tallulah Falls at 6 p.m. on Friday in Gainesville.

LAKEVIEW ACADEMY BOYS 74, HEBRON CHRISTIAN 69: Josh Randolph put up 25 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for the Lions on Tuesday. Evan Pitts had 13 points for the Lakeview Academy (9-4, 4-0 Region 8-A). KJ Millwood and Tre Gober had 10 points apiece for Lakeview Academy.

FLOWERY BRANCH BOYS 56, WINDER-BARROW BOYS 43: John Mills paced the Falcons with 19 points on Tuesday in Winder. Blake Coxworth had 13 points for Flowery Branch (13-3), while his teammate Justin Quick finished with 11.

Flowery visits Clark Central at 8:30 p.m. on Friday in Athens.

BANKS COUNTY GIRLS 66, SOCIAL CIRCLE GIRLS 40: Allison Smith scored 19 points and grabbed six rebounds in a Region 8-AA win against Social Circle. Jaycie Bowen had 16 points and 10 rebounds for the Lady Leopards (10-4, 2-0 Region 8-AA) while her teammate Maddie Thomas put up 10 points Tuesday night in Homer.

Banks County host Elbert County at 7 p.m. on Friday in Homer.

BANKS COUNTY BOYS 85, SOCIAL CIRCLE BOYS 56: Dylan Orr posted a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds for the Leopards on Tuesday in Homer. Kahmal Wiley also posted a double-double with 15 points and 15 rebounds for the Leopards (10-4, 2-0 Region 8-AA).

Carl Cleveland finished with 14 points for Banks County. Caleb Boyle and Darris Bonds finished with 10 points apiece for the Leopards.

Banks County hosts Elbert County at 8:30 p.m. on Friday in Homer.
