The Gainesville High volleyball team swept a quad-match Tuesday evening at Chestatee with victories over Flowery Branch, North Hall and Chestatee.

The Lady Red Elephants won 25-16, 22-25, 25-11 against Flowery Branch, before defeating North Hall 25-23, 25-18, and Chestatee 25-20, 25-20.

Savannah Roys led Gainesville with 38 assists and 26 digs. Abby Alexander had 10 kills and 13 blocks, while Sydney King registered 33 digs.

Gainesville (7-1) travels to Forsyth County to play in the Forsyth Challenge this weekend.

WEST HALL SWEEPS TRI-MATCH: West Hall secured two wins at Stephens County Tuesday evening with straight-set victories over Stephens County and East Jackson.

The Lady Spartans defeated Stephens County 25-13, 25-23 before defeating East Jackson 30-28, 25-11.

Mia Mckensey led West Hall with 12 kills. She also had seven aces and nine digs. Junior Makayla Courson had 12 assists and four digs for the Lady Spartans, while Julia Wunderlich had six aces and four blocks.
West Hall (5-5) visits Chestatee at 6 p.m. Thursday.

JEFFERSON SWEEPS PAIR OF GAMES: The Lady Dragons swept a pair of home matches.

The first match was a 25-16, 25-23 win against Habersham Central. Jefferson followed that up with a 25-20, 25-17 win against Winder-Barrow.

Abby Wood had 11 kills and 19 digs. Bre Arbanas had nine kills, while Olivia Przybysz had 18 digs. Madison Corbett led the Dragons with 25 assists.

Jefferson (6-2) next plays a tri-match against West Hall at Chestatee at 5 p.m. Thursday.

NORTH HALL WINS TWO IN QUAD MATCH: The Lady Trojans defeated Chestatee 25-4, 25-11 and Flowery Branch 25-10, 25-17. They lost to Gainesville 25-23, 25-18.

Bly Belcher had 15 kills and 12 digs, Makenzie Bryant had 15 digs and Autumn Tucker had 20 kills for the Lady Trojans.

Lily Paschall led North Hall with 42 assists.

North Hall plays in the Forsyth Challenge on Friday.

CHESTATEE GETS SWEPT IN A QUAD MATCH: The Lady War Eagles lost to North Hall 25-4, 25-11, Flowery Branch 25-14, 25-19 and Gainesville 25-20, 25-20 on Tuesday.

Maddie Woodard had 13 digs and six kills for Chestatee. Katie Jones had seven assists and Katie Jones had 13 digs.
Chestatee hosts a tri-match against Jefferson and West Hall at 5 p.m. Thursday.

WHITE COUNTY LOSES TO LAKEVIEW, EAST HALL: White County got swept in a tri-match Tuesday night.

The Lady Warriors first lost to Lakeview 25-13, 17-25, 25-22. Eliza Harris led the team with three aces.

The second match was a 25-16, 25-18 loss against East Hall. Addie Berry had two aces in the contest.
