The Red Elephants scored five runs in the seventh inning Saturday night to sweep region foe Heritage on the season.

Pitcher Sam Carpenter pitched a complete game, allowing five hits, four strikeouts and two walks to help Gainesville to a 7-2 victory.

Jack Langford had three RBIs, Banks Griffith had two RBIs, and Noah Bond and Jared Smith both drove in a run.

Gainesville next hosts Winder-Barrow on Monday night.
