The Flowery Branch Boys basketball team advanced to the second round of the Region 8-AAAAA tournament by knocking off Clarke Central 65-42 at Cedar Shoals. The Falcons will play at 8:30 p.m. Friday at Cedar Shoals against Cedar Shoals or Johnson. John Mills and Brannon Clark both had 15 apiece for Flowery Branch, and Justin Quick finished the night with 13.
