The Flowery Branch High baseball team won 9-1 at Central Gwinnett in its season opener Friday. Trevor Roof tossed four scoreless innings with six strikeouts to earn the pitching victory. Andrew Nolt’s home run and three RBIs led the Falcons (1-0) offensively, with Stephen Skeggs and Jonathan Hughes each adding a double and an RBI.
