The North Georgia Christian boys defeated Heritage Christian Academy 85-65 in the first round of the GICAA basketball state playoffs in Flowery Branch on Thursday. Norris Rettiger scored 24 points to lead the Chargers. Chris Palmer added 21 points and Justin Law chipped in 15 for North Georgia Christian.The Chargers will play Dawson Christian Friday night for seeding in the state playoffs.
