Jenny Edwards fueled East Hall’s girls basketball team with 14 points in a 76-43 win against Fannin County in the first round of the Region 7-AAA tournament on Tuesday in Homer. With the win, the Lady Vikings clinched a berth in the Class AAA state tournament. Jatasia Bailey, Ashlyn Ellison and Kylah Mize each notched 12 points for the Lady Vikings, who play in the next round of the tournament at 4 p.m. on Friday in Carnesville.
