Leo Toledo scored a hat trick and the second-ranked East Hall Vikings scored a 4-3 win over Lumpkin County on Friday.

Carlos Castrejon scored the other goal for East Hall and Sergio Turcios had two assists. East Hall (14-1, 4-0 7-AAA) next visits Jackson County on Tuesday, Apr. 12.

LUMPKIN COUNTY GIRLS 4, EAST HALL 0: East Hall goalkeeper Maryana Hernandez had 17 saves.

East Hall (5-9-1, 2-2 7-AAA) visits Jackson County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Apr. 12.


BUFORD 5, NORTH HALL 0: Buford pitcher Justin Glover threw a one-hit, complete game shutout with 13 strikeouts on Friday night.

Glover also went 2 for 3 at the plate with four RBIs. Brandon Marsh had two doubles and Austin Wilhite had an RBI single.

Fowler Brooks had the only hit for North Hall.

Buford (15-2, 8-0 8-AAAA) visits Madison County 5:55 p.m. on Monday, while North Hall (12-7, 7-3) hosts Johnson 5:55 p.m. on Monday.

PROVIDENCE CHRISTIAN 7, LAKEVIEW ACADEMY 4: Lakeview’s Rett Kinsey went 2 for 3 with two double on Friday in Gainesville.

Peyton Solinsky had a hit and an RBI. Alec Bornhorst, Brannon Browner, Gabe McConnell and Josh Henderson each had a hit.
