The East Hall softball team defeated Gainesville 8-3 at Gainesville High on Monday. The game saw five lead changes before the Vikings took the lead for good after an RBI double from Carly Griffin in the top of the fourth inning. In the bottom of the fourth, East Hall’s Allison Millwood, Logan Turner and Kaitlyn Daniel combined for a 2-4-2-6 triple play to prevent Gainesville from scoring.
