The East Hall girls basketball team kept its undefeated record intact with a 50-35 win over Elbert County in the McDonald’s Shootout Championship game at Hart County High on Friday.

The Lady Vikings (10-0) were led by senior Morgan Jackson, who finished with 22 points. Audrianna Lindsey added 11 points and Natalie Winters scored seven.

Jackson picked up her second tournament MVP award of the season, to go alongside her Lanierland MVP, for her performance throughout the three games last week. Lindsey was also named to the all-tournament team.

East Hall returns to the court at 7 p.m. Friday at St. Francis Academy.

EAST HALL GIRLS 47, FRANKLIN COUNTY 35 (Wednesday): Holly Lester led the Lady Vikings with 13 points, Morgan Jackson added 10 points and Audrianna Lindsey scored 10 as East Hall advanced to the second round of the McDonald’s Shootout at Hart County High with the win.

EAST HALL GIRLS 65, HART COUNTY 42 (Thursday): Morgan Jackson led all scorers with 27 points, including 21 in the first half, to lead the Lady Vikings over host Hart County in the second round of the McDonald’s Shootout.
Audrianna Lindsey added 12 points for East Hall and Holly Lester finished with nine.
