Sloan Strickland had four hits and a pair of RBIs for the Gainesville High baseball team in a 9-5 win at Flowery Branch on Friday.
Ryan Griffith added three hits, two runs and an RBI for the Red Elephants (16-1, 11-0).

Hunter Anglin, a freshman, was 3-for-4 with a pair of RBI’s for Gainesville and K.J. McAllister and Stephen Mason each had two hits.

Gainesville plays host to Chestatee at 5:55 p.m. Monday at Ivey-Watson Field.

NORTH HALL 16, LUMPKIN COUNTY 4: The Trojans pounded out 14 hits and Chris Stevens threw a complete game for the victory Friday at Jody Davis Field. Lee Sisson led North Hall (9-8, 6-5 Region 7-AAA) at the plate with three doubles, and Jackson Coker added a single and a double.

Jacob Brewster, Ryan Pitts and Stevens each had two singles for North Hall. The Trojans visit Creekview at 5:55 p.m. on Monday in Canton.

JOHNSON 16, EAST HALL 1: Blake Stacey pitched a five-inning, complete-game shut out with seven strikeouts for the Knights on Friday. He only allowed one hit the entire game.

Johnson scored 11 runs in the first inning, followed by a three-run home run from Taylor Whitmire in the third inning. In the fifth inning, Logan Pethel drove in a pair of runs for the Knights.

Win Griffith finished with two hits for the Knights, who travel to West Hall at 5:55 p.m. on Monday.

WHITE COUNTY 13, PICKENS 4: Dylan Lee had a solo home run and three hits for the Warriors (12-5, 7-5 Region 7-AAA) on Friday in Jasper. Hayden Cummins had a pair of doubles and three runs scored for White County, and Luke Crumley had a double and three runs.

Brett Westmoreland had two runs and two hits for the Warriors. White County plays host to Gilmer at 5:30 p.m. Monday in Cleveland.
