The Gainesville High girls golf program shot a combined 290 and were runner-up in the Class 6A Area 2 Championship on Wednesday at the Apple Mountain Golf Club in Clarkesville. Vivian Robinson led the Lady Red Elephants with a career-low score of 85, finishing fourth individually. Gainesville will now move on to the state tournament May 22-23 at the Chicopee Woods Golf Course in Gainesville.
