High school football: Top teams hold firm in AP poll
Placeholder Image

There's no change at the top in this week's Associated Press High School football polls. The top team in each classification, including Gainesville in Class AAA, held on to their No. 1 ranking for the second straight week.

Flowery Branch dropped from the top 10 after losing, 37-34, last week to North Hall.

Other local teams in the polls include Buford holding steady at No. 3 in AA, and Jefferson, sliding one spot to No. 7 in AA after a bye week.
