High school cross country: Gainesville's Ashley Thompson claims Region 6-7A championship

Gainesville High junior Ashley Thompson ran a first-place time of 18 minutes, 30 seconds to take first place at the Region 6-7A championship on Saturday. This season, Thompson also won the Hall County championship.
