Lumpkin County High senior Aaron George fired a two-day total of 146 and finished 2-over par for a 12th place finish at the Exxon-BFI Championships on Sunday in Greenville, Miss.

George shot even par on the first day, followed by a 74 on the final 18 holes. Next, George will compete in the U.S. Junior qualifier on Monday. George is The Times 2010 Boys Golfer of the Year.

He won the Region 7-AAA individual title this season with a 69 at the Achasta Course in Dahlonega.
