Rising Gainesville High junior Ryan Hogan shot a final-round 69 to win the two-day Achasta Club Junior event on the Southeast Junior Golf Tour on Thursday in Dahlonega.

Hogan finished the two-day event at 5-under par, which was four shots clear of the two golfers who tied for second place.

Hogan was 2-under par during the first round.

On Thursday, Hogan pulled away for victory with four consecutive birdies on the back nine. After consecutive bogeys on the front nine, he birdied No. 8 to make the turn at 1-over par.

Gainesville’s Davis Weaver and North Hall’s Bartley Forrester finished tied at 12-over par.
