The Banks County football team defeated Rabun County 35-6 on Friday night in Tiger.
Justin Beasley led the way for Banks County (2-2, 2-1 8-AA) with 177 yards rushing and three touchdowns as well as a 40-yard reception. Leopards quarterback Chris Porter completed six passes for 101 yards and a touchdown. Kane Duncan also added a pair of catches for 17 yards and a touchdown. Bill Redmon intercepted a pass late in the game and returned it for a touchdown.
Banks County plays host to North Oconee at 7 p.m. Friday in Homer.
Fannin County 20, Dawson County 17
David Scully put the Tigers on top 17-14 in the fourth quarter with a 40-yard field goal. The Rebels then proceeded to drive 80 yards down the field for a the game-winning touchdown.
Devan Marris rushed for 129 yards and three touchdowns for Fannin County (3-1, 2-1 Region 8-AA). Rebels quarterback Dean Nick was 4-for-4 for 54 yards. Dawson County's (1-2, 0-2 8-AA) Eian Perry rushed for 110 yards on 19 carries and a touchdown and Cody Tobias added 21 yards and a touchdown.
Dawson County plays host to Rabun County at 7 p.m. Friday in Dawsonville.
Loganville 19, Habersham Central 6
The Raiders drop to 1-3 on the season after a loss to the Red Devils Friday in Loganville.
Habersham quarterback Austin Brown was 15-for-27 for 98 yards and a touchdown for Habersham Central (1-3, 1-3 region 8-AAAA). Kevin Ellison and Jacob Griffin rushed for 23 yards each. Zach Mayfield caught five passes for 23 yards and Dee Ellison had four catches for 72 yards.
Habersham Central plays host to Winder Barrow at 7 p.m. Friday in Mount Airy.
Covenant Christian 40, North Georgia Christian 6
The Chargers lost in an eight-man football game on Friday in Loganville.
Tyler Dunn recovered a fumble and returned it for a touchdown for North Georgia Christian (2-3) and Dylan Boonstra added 35 yards on 17 carries.
