Flowery Branch’s boys and girls cross country teams are both headed to state after the boys won the Region 8-AAAAA championship and the girls finished in second place Thursday in Conyers. It marked the program's second straight win at region. Taylor Fiorello led the boys with a third place finish, Nick Ashmead was fourth and Jake Shewbert was fifth.
