The Chestatee High competition cheerleading team placed third out of 28 teams in the co-ed sectionals held Nov. 6 at Peachtree Ridge High.

The team will now advance to compete in the Class AAA state cheerleading finals Saturday in Columbus.

This is Chestatee’s seventh consecutive year competing in the state finals and the school has placed in the top 10 at state each of those seven years.
