The Buford High softball team remains No. 1 in Class AA in the latest Prepcountry.Com Coaches Poll, released Tuesday.

The Lady Wolves (22-4, 4-0 Region 6A-AA) have only lost to teams from a higher classification this season.

Union County (21-1-1, 10-0 Region 8A-AA) remains No. 2 in the poll. The Lady Panthers’ only loss of the season was a 3-2 defeat at the hands of Buford on Aug. 27.

In Class AAA, White County (20-4, 10-0 Region 8A-AAA) moved up a spot to No. 7 after beating Franklin County and Stephens County in the past week.
