The Buford baseball team split its doubleheader in the best-of-three playoff series against Pierce County in the Class AA state quarterfinals with a 8-6 loss in Game 1 and a 14-2 win in Game 2 on Tuesday night in Buford. With the split, the Wolves will play a deciding Game 3 at 3 p.m. today, again in Buford. “We feel like we’re going to have to show up play defense tomorrow” Buford coach Tony Wolfe said.
