West Hall’s girls dropped a Region 7-AAA contest Monday night at Gilmer, falling to the Lady Bobcats, 54-40.

Gilmer (10-0) led 12-8 at the end of the first quarter, stretched the lead to eight by halftime, and never allowed the Lady Spartans (4-5, 2-2) to get any closer. Jayla Moon led West Hall with 24 points and Kim Smigelsky added eight. Kylie Smith led Gilmer with 14 points, followed by Ashley Waters with 12.
