Anthony Abercrombie bench-pressed 400 pounds to win the 205-pound division at the third annual North Georgia Bench Press Contest on Saturday at Gainesville High.

Abercrombie’s bench was 75 pounds more than Cole Smith, also in the 205-pound division.

Kendrick Millsap won the 160-pound division with a bench of 210 pounds, C.J. Floyd (175) won with a bench of 275 pounds and Devon Pierce (190) won with a bench of 275 pounds.

Other winners at the meet were 225-pounder Carlos Figueredo, who benched 265 pounds, and Rafael Upchurch, who benched 305 pounds in the unlimited division.
