High school tennis scoreboard: Flowery Branch girls wrap up regular season with 4-1 win over Oconee County

FLOWERY BRANCH GIRLS 4, OCONEE COUNTY 1: Olivia Correa won in No. 2 singles (6-1, 6-2) for Flowery Branch, which wrapped up the regular season on Thursday in Flowery Branch. Olivia Nance was the No. 3 singles winner (6-0, 6-0) for the Lady Falcons. 

Alyssa McSpadden/Brenna Martin won in No. 1 doubles (6-0, 6-1) for Flowery Branch, while teammates Alicia Quast/Kendalle Quast won in No. 2 doubles (6-0, 6-0). 

Flowery Branch (17-1, 6-0 Region 8-5A) will be the No. 1 seed in the Region 8-5A tournament set for April 10-11 in Buford.

FLOWERY BRANCH BOYS 5, JOHNSON 0: Drayton Matus won in No. 1 singles (6-0, 6-0) for Flowery Branch on Thursday in Oakwood. 

Nathan Holley was the No. 2 singles winner (6-0, 6-1) for the Falcons, while teammate Jack Thomas won his match in No. 3 singles (6-0, 6-0). John Hollis/Brody Millwood won in No. 1 doubles (6-1, 6-0) for Flowery Branch, and teammates Gunnar Hetzel/Brady McVey won in No. 2 doubles (6-1, 6-0). Flowery Branch improved to 13-3 and 5-1 in Region 8-5A play.

BUFORD BOYS 5, CLARKE CENTRAL 0: Brady Todd won in No. 1 singles (6-0, 6-0) on Wednesday. 

Also winning for Buford were Dalton Counts in No. 2 singles (6-0, 6-0), Luke Davidson in No. 3 singles (6-1, 6-2), Cameron Deloach/Alex Pruitt in No. 1 doubles (6-0, 6-0) and Kurt Knudsen/ Trent Milton in No. 2 doubles (6-0, 6-2). Buford wrapped up the regular season 13-2 and 6-0 in Region 8-5A play.

Buford hosts the region tournament April 10.

BUFORD GIRLS 5, CLARKE CENTRAL 0: Alex Mann was the No. 1 singles winner (6-0, 6-0) for Buford on Wednesday. 

Also winning for the Lady Wolves were Kenzie Walters in No. 2 singles (6-0, 6-0), Callie Perkins in No. 3 singles (6-1, 6-1), Kenzie Harms/Sydney Grothe in No. 1 doubles (6-1, 6-1) and Ainsley Keller/Kennedy Deloach in No. 2 doubles (6-0, 6-1).
