High school tennis: Gainesville girls top Dacula, 4-1, in region match

GAINESVILLE GIRLS 4, DACULA 1: Madi Kiser won in No. 2 singles for Gainesville (6-2, 6-2,). Also winning for the Lady Red Elephants were Grace O’Keefe in No. 3 singles (6-1, 6-1), Paige Patterson/Hannah Williams in No. 1 doubles (6-1, 6-2) and Savanah Brown/Hannah Wagner in No. 2 doubles (4-6, 6-1, 6-3).

Gainesville visits Loganville today.

BUFORD BOYS 5, WALNUT GROVE 0: Brady Todd won in No. 1 singles for Buford (6-0,6-0). Dalton Counts won in No. 2 doubles for the Wolves (6-0,6-0). Luke Davidson was the No. 3 singles winner for Buford, victorious in straight sets (6-0,6-0). Cameron Deloach/Alex Pruitt won in No. 1 doubles (6-1, 6-0) for the Wolves, while teammates Trent Milton/Kurt Knudsen won in No. 2 doubles (6-0, 6-0). Buford improves to 5-3 for the season.

Buford hosts Flowery Branch on Tuesday.

Buford improves to 4-4 for the season.
