High school softball: East Hall wins in extra innings against Jefferson and Apalachee

Calli Hardison pitched a strong game and hit the go-ahead home run in the eight inning for East Hall to beat Jefferson 2-1 in its first game of the day on Saturday. Hardison pitched a complete game with four hits scattered through eight innings and four strikeouts. 

In Game 2, Abigail Brown hit a three-run home run in the ninth inning to beat Apalachee 8-5. 

Macy Banks picked up the win, allowing 10 hits and five runs through the extra-inning contest. 

Trailing by a run in the seventh inning, Hardison drove in a run with a single to tie it at 5-5. 

Hardison, Brown and Gracie Ausborn each finished the game with three hits.
