High school basketball scoreboard: Flowery Branch girls team stays unbeaten in region play with win over White County
Ashlee Locke had a 19-point, 13-rebound double-double for the Lady Falcons

The Flowery Branch High girls basketball team kept its unbeaten region record intact with a 68-44 win over White County on Tuesday. 

Ashley Scott led the Lady Falcons with 20 points followed by Caroline Wysocki with 19. Also for Flowery Branch (14-3, 5-0 Region 7-4A), Ashlee Locke finished with a double-double, racking up 19 points and 13 rebounds. 

On Friday, Flowery Branch hosts West Hall at 7 p.m.  

LAKEVIEW ACADEMY GIRLS 48, TALLULAH FALLS 27: Eliza Snyder led the Lady Lions with 18 points and five steals. Also for the Lady Lions (13-4, 2-0 Region 8-A), Jackie Allen had 14 points and seven assists, while Savannah Kinsey scored 10 points. 

Lakeview Academy visits Commerce at 7 p.m. on Friday. 

LAKEVIEW BOYS 59, TALLULAH FALLS 48: Adam Cottrell led the Lions with 19 points and five assists. Also for Lakeview (11-5, 2-0 Region 8-A), Blake McIntyre added nine points and six assists. 

On Friday, Lakeview visits Commerce at 8:30 p.m. 

RIVERSIDE MILITARY ACADEMY 67, TOWNS COUNTY 54: Shad Dabney finished with a team-high 16 points for the Eagles (11-4, 2-1 Region 8-A). Also in double-figures were Khalid Duke and Isaac Teasley scoring 15 and 11 points respectively. 

Next up, Riverside Military visits Athens Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. 

BUFORD GIRLS 64, CEDAR SHOALS 36: Tate Walters led the Lady Wolves with 15 points. With the win, Buford girls move up to 14-1 overall and 3-0 in Region 8-5A. 

Buford hosts Loganville at 7 p.m. on Friday. 

NORTH HALL GIRLS 45, CHEROKEE BLUFF 42: Cherokee Bluff’s Timber Gaither finished with 16 points to lead all scorers. Also for the Lady Bears (10-9, 1-5), Maddie Thomas scored 15. 

On Friday, Cherokee Bluff hosts Lumpkin County for a 6 p.m. tip, while North Hall visits East Hall at 7 p.m.

LANIER CHRISTIAN ACADEMY 39, KILLIAN HILLS CHRISTIAN 23: The Lady Lightning were led by Jenny Vi with seven points followed by Mary Kate Johns with six.

Lanier Christian Academy plays Praise Christian Academy at 6 p.m. on Friday in Powder Springs.
