Brenau Unviersity picked up two wins against NAIA ranked opponents, defeating No. 14 Houston-Victoria 3-2 and No. 16 Martin Methodist 4-3 last Saturday in Orange Beach, Ala.

Cassie Lassiter pitched a complete game with 14 strikeouts for Brenau (13-1). She followed up the performance with a game-winning home run against Martin Methodist.

Leading the Tigers against Houston-Victoria was Brooke Borders, who was 2-for-4. Morgan Smith was 1-for-2 with an RBI.

In the second game against Martin Methodist, Marisa Litster picked up the win, pitching a complete game and striking out nine. Brooke Bryant led Brenau at the plate, going 2-for-3 with a run.

Brenau plays host to Lee University at 5 p.m. today.
