Georgia Tech’s Gani Lawal was named ACC Player of the Week the Atlantic Coast Conference announced Monday.
Lawal averaged 21 points in two games last week.
In Saturday’s 71-67 victory over No. 5 Duke, Lawal scored 21 points and was 8-for-9 from the floor and 5-for-6 from the foul line.
Lawal also scored 21 points and grabbed six rebounds in a 73-66 loss to Georgia on Tuesday in Athens.
The Yellow Jackets (12-3) visit Virginia at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
