Georgia Tech women cruise to win against Florida State

The Georgia Tech women’s basketball team (14-6, 4-3 ACC) snapped a three-game losing streak to Florida State (11-10, 3-4 ACC) with a 79-55 win over the Seminoles on Sunday in Tallahassee, Fla.

Georgia Tech forced 24 Florida State turnovers, converting them into 32 points on offense.

Sophomore Tyaunna Marshall finished with a game-high 22 points.

Senior Sasha Goodlett added 15 points and seven rebounds for the Lady Yellow Jackets. For the game, they shot nearly 55 percent, had 11 different players score and got 28 points from reserves.

Georgia Tech will return to the Arena at Gwinnett Center to take on the Virginia Cavaliers at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
