ATLANTA — Georgia State is wasting no time jumping into big-time college football.
Georgia State will play at Alabama in its first season in 2010 in a game that will mark Bill Curry’s return to the state.
The schools announced Wednesday plans to play on Nov. 20, 2010 at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa, Ala. The game will conclude Georgia State’s inaugural season.
Curry, Georgia State’s coach, said playing at Alabama — where he coached the Crimson Tide to a Southeastern Conference championship — "quickens the pace of everything we are doing."
