Eighth-ranked Georgia jumped on Florida State with six runs in the first two innings and cruised to a 10-2 six-inning win over the Seminoles in the championship game of the NCAA Athens Regional on Sunday.

Georgia will face Baylor in this week’s Super Regional, at a time, date and place to be announced.

Freshman pitcher Morgan Montemayor took the win, allowing just one earned run on three hits in the complete-game effort.
