Murray back at practice for Bulldogs

ATHENS — Georgia quarterback Aaron Murray is back at practice and expected to play for the Bulldogs when they face rival Georgia Tech on Saturday.

Murray sustained a bruised left knee and bruised sternum in a Nov. 13 loss to Auburn. He didn't practice during an off week but returned to the field Monday and was undergoing treatment to deal with the pain.

Coach Mark Richt says he expects Murray to play against the Yellow Jackets if he gets through Tuesday's practice without any major setbacks. The Bulldogs will scale back their workload the rest of the week.

Georgia (5-6) needs to beat Georgia Tech (6-5) to become bowl eligible.
