LOS ANGELES — Porsha Phillips and Khaalidah Miller each scored 15 points, and No. 18 Georgia used a balanced offense to beat Loyola Marymount 76-44 in the championship game of the Westside Thanksgiving Classic on Saturday.
Anne Marie Armstrong and Jasmine Hassell both scored 10 points for Georgia (5-1), which wrapped up a three-game West Coast trip with a 2-1 record.
Armstrong had a 3-pointer and layup on consecutive possessions as Georgia went up 20-6 with 11:31 left in the first half.
Alex Cowling finished with 13 points and Candice Nichols had 12 points on three 3-pointers for host LMU (3-3), which lost for the first time at home this season.
