University of Georgia women’s basketball player Khaalidah Miller has been named the Southeastern Conference Freshman of the Week for the third time this season, the league announced Monday.
Miller, a 5-foot-9 guard, averaged a team-best 15.5 points in victories over Arkansas and Alabama last week, while shooting 61.1 percent from the field, 54.5 percent from 3-point range and 75 percent from the free throw line.
Miller scored nine points in the Lady Bulldogs’ overtime victory against Arkansas last Thursday, and 22 points in the win over Alabama on Sunday.
The No. 24 Lady Bulldogs return to action when they host Vanderbilt at 7 p.m. Thursday.
