University of Georgia true freshman tailback Todd Gurley has been named the Southeastern Conference Freshman of the Week following his performance in Georgia’s 48-3 win over Vanderbilt. Gurley registered his third 100-yard game in four contests after rushing for a career-high 130 yards. He has also been named the 247Sports National True Freshman of the Week and leads the SEC in rushing, scoring and all-purpose yardage.
