Georgia sophomore center David Andrews has earned Southeastern Conference Offensive Lineman of the Week honors following the Bulldogs’ 38-0 win at Auburn, the league announced Monday.

This marks Andrews’ first SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week selection as well as the first honor of its kind for Georgia this season.

Andrews graded out at 88 percent in the Bulldogs’ first shutout of the Tigers since 1976. He had six “dominator” blocks and three knockdowns while starting his 10th consecutive game at center.

The No. 5 Bulldogs (9-1, 7-1 SEC) host Georgia Southern (8-2, 6-2 SoCon) at Sanford Stadium on Saturday. WSB-TV will televise the game at 1:30 p.m.
