Georgia hires three; Foxs staff now finished

University of Georgia basketball coach Mark Fox announced the hiring of Director of Basketball Operations Kent Davison, Operations Coordinator Mark Pope and Graduate Assistant Todd Okeson on Tuesday.

Additionally, Fox said that Cory Cason will return for the 2010 season as the team’s Graduate Manager, a position that he held last season.

Davison has coached at the college, professional and international level, including head coach of Qatar National Team and the National Basketball Development League teams.

Pope comes to the Bulldogs after six years playing in the NBA and two in Turkey. He won a NCAA title in 1996 with Kentucky.
Okeson played for the University of Nevada and was part of the Wolfpack’s Sweet 16 team in 2004.

He also worked for Fox in Nevada and coached in the NBDL.
