ATHENS — Police say a University of Georgia football player is facing a charge of aggravated assault, a felony. University of Georgia Police Chief Jimmy Williamson said defensive lineman Jonathan Taylor was arrested early Tuesday after an altercation with his girlfriend at McWhorter Hall on the campus. Williamson tells The Associated Press that officers found his girlfriend with marks around her neck.
