Fresh off a three-game sweep of No. 25 Mississippi State, the Georgia baseball team is ranked No. 1 in two polls released Monday.

The Bulldogs (19-2, 4-2 SEC), winners of five straight, are ranked first in the Collegiate Baseball and ESPN/USA Today Coaches’ polls.

Georgia was ranked No. 1 two weeks ago by Collegiate Baseball and the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association for the first time in school history in the regular season.

The Bulldogs play host to Wright State Tuesday at 5 p.m. before traveling to third-ranked Georgia Tech on Wednesday for the first of three meetings this season with the Yellow Jackets.
