Stacy Searels is leaving Georgia to become the offensive line coach at Texas.

Georgia spokesman Claude Felton confirmed Thursday night that Searels would be moving to the Longhorns. He held the same job with the Bulldogs, as well as coordinator of the running game.

The 45-year-old Searels coached at Georgia the last four years after a four-year stint at LSU, where he was on the staff when the Tigers won the national title in 2003. He decided to leave the Bulldogs after the team finished 6-7, its first losing season since 1996.
