University of Georgia quarterback Aaron Murray and center Ben Jones picked up honors from the Southeastern Conference on Monday.

This is the second straight week Murray has been named SEC Freshman of the Week. In Saturday’s 43-0 win over Vanderbilt he posted a career-high 287 yards and two touchdowns on 15-for-24 passing. His passing efficiency (190.4) is the highest of any freshman in the nation.

Jones anchored an offense that accumulated 547 total yards in the Bulldogs’ win. Georgia has accumulated more than 400 yards and more than 40 points in each of its last two games. Jones graded out at 83 percent overall, including 100 percent on pass plays, and finished with a team-best 20 knockdown blocks and two pins.

Jones’ last Offensive Lineman of the Week honor came during the 2008 season.

The Bulldogs (3-4, 2-3 SEC) will play Kentucky (4-3, 1-3) on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in Lexington. Georgia’s game will be televised by CSS.
