Gainesville High graduate and Georgia men's golfer Spencer Ralston finished second individually with a 12-under 204 at this week’s Linger Longer Invitational in Greensboro.

The 12-under represented a new tournament-low for Ralston, who shot a final-round 67 on Tuesday to help the Bulldogs claim second place for the third straight tournament. Ralston finished two strokes behind Alabama’s Lee Hodges, while Georgia’s team score was as many shots behind the first-place Crimson Tide.

Ralston, who matched his career-best individual finish, and his Bulldogs teammates will compete at the Mason Rudolph Championship on April 13-15 in Franklin, Tennessee.
