Jace Windom, a 2006 graduate of Gainesville High and a golfer at Wallace State Community College in Hanceville, Ala., recently was named a National Junior College Athletic Association Honorable Mention All-American.

Windom placed 19th at the NJCAA National Championship in Huntsville, Ala. Also this season, Windom had one tournament victory, five top-five finishes and was named to the All-Region and All-District team.

Jace is the son of Jack and Lisa Windom of Gainesville.
