Georgia State rising senior Alan Fowler, a North Hall graduate, has been named a Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-American Scholar as announced by the Golf Coaches Associate of America. Joining Fowler is recent Georgia State graduate Tom Sherreard.

The duo was among the 119 Division I student-athletes chosen to receive the honor. Fowler earned Colonial Athletic Association All-Tournament honors after tying for fourth in their year’s championships.

The Gainesville native posted a pair of top-20 finishes during his junior season and will be one of three returning seniors for the 2010-11 season.
