The Drag Racers paddleboat team from Gainesville won the second round of the Lanier Dragonboat Racing Series held June 26 at the Lake Lanier Olympic Venue.

Dragonboat Atlanta, comprised of survivors of breast cancer and their supporters, placed second, while the First Methodist Church of Gainesville finished in third.

The series finale will be held at 10 a.m. July 24 at the Olympic Venue.
