The Chattahoochee Men’s Golf Association played an individual flighted points game last Wednesday at the Chattahoochee Golf Course. In the white tee flight, Gene Weschler, Eddie Johnson and Ron Bachman tied for first place, and Rick Reed and Paul Payne tied for fourth. Jere Cochran finished in first place in the gold tee first flight, Carlyle Cox came in second and Don Gage was third. Karl Goellner, Ed Pledger, Bill Holleman and Richard McClure all tied for fourth place. In the gold second flight, Bud Clegg took first place and Nick Grillo finished in second. Don Sorrell and AJ Kiker tied for third and Roy Lyle was fifth. Closest to the pin winners were Clegg (No. 3 and No. 18), Grillo (No. 5), Ron Bachman (No. 7) and Weschler (No. 12).

CLGA: The Chattahoochee Ladies Golf Association played a best ball net team play event last Tuesday at the Chattahoochee Golf Course. The team of Ann White, Martha Shell and Riki Van Stroud took first place, while Ann Hollobaugh, Beulah Land and Johann Stone finished in second. Closest to the pin winners were White (No. 3) and Sue Cronmiller (No. 17).

DOGFIGHT: Jim Arendt, Jerry Horton, Geoff Archibald and George McMath finished in first place at the Wednesday Dogfight last week at Chicopee Woods Golf Course. Tom Bolton, Cleve Sexton, Yoshi and Darrel Pinner were second. Geoff Archibald finished in first place individually with a score of 63, Mark Black was second with a 67 and Cleve Sexton was third with a 68. Eric Autry and Darrel Pinner tied for fourth with scores of 69.

DPG: The Dedicated Players Group players matched on Wednesday and Friday last week at Chicopee Woods Golf Course. Dewey Alverson finished in first place on Wednesday, Denis Jordan came in second, and Dave Jetter and Charley Kilby tied for third. Kilby and Jerry Shell tied for first on Friday and Norm Phillips finished in second.
