The Lanier Canoe and Kayak Club will be incorporating the first stand-up paddle board race and demo day for the club as part of the 2012 Baron and Brothers International Championship Race on September 29 at the Lake Lanier Olympic Venue on Clarks Bridge Road. The event starts at 8 a.m. with dragon boat races to be followed by the traditional sprint canoe and kayak races of the BBI Championship. The new stand-up paddle board races will be incorporated into the schedule.
